1 bottle "4B Alcohol. - 25 oz. ( this is straight alcohol. You can get it at the Liquor store. Honest)
Note:
We use to use a liquid coffee called "Camp" coffee. It had chicory in it and seemed to mellow the flavour of the tia maria. I still see it in the coffee section of the grocery store but you have to look up. It's usually on the top self.
We used to make this a lot in the early 1970's. Brown cows (1 1/2 oz. tia maria poured over ice and topped with whole milk or
cream) were the "in" thing and I had a girlfriend who was totally hilarious when she'd had a few.
Makes: 48 oz.
In a 2 quart saucepan bring sugar, water, coffee and vanilla to a boil – stir constantly even when cooling. Cool.
Add 1 bottle alcohol and stir well. Pour into nice bottles .
