1 lb. cooked cleaned and deveined shrimp

1 can crab meat - drained well

1 cup cucumber – seeds removed and diced to " cubes

2 green onions – chopped

1 tsp. Dijon mustard

1 tsp. dried dill weed or 1 tbsp. fresh chopped fine baby dill

tsp. crushed garlic

tsp. salt

1 cup sour cream

cup mayonnaise or mayonnaise type salad dressing

1 small head romaine lettuce – cleaned , washed and dried and torn in bite size pieces

 

This is a very simple, and very delicious salad for special dinners.  Serve it really cold.

Serves: 4 - 6

Serve with: A fresh crisp white wine and a warm baguette as an appetizer, or pig-out for brunch on a sultry Sunday when more than just the newspaper is in order.

Mix shrimp, crab, cucumber, onions, mustard, dill, garlic, salt sour cream and mayo together and serve on a bed of very cold lettuce.
