cup butter

lb fresh mushrooms – cut up

1 lb. chicken livers

1 tsp. garlic salt

1 tsp. paprika

1/3 cup chopped green onion

cup dry white wine

Pinch of dill weed

Dash of Tabasco sauce

cup soft butter

Salt

 

Makes: 3 cups

Serve With: Warm Bread, crackers and bread sticks

 
Heat cup butter, add mushrooms, livers, garlic, paprika and onions.  Cook gently, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.

Add wine, dill and Tabasco.  Cover tightly and simmer 10 minutes.

Cool and whirl in blender or food processor until smooth.  Blend in cup butter and whirl until mixed. 

Put into serving bowls and chill several hours.
