Heat ¼ cup butter, add mushrooms, livers, garlic, paprika and onions.
Cook gently, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
Add wine, dill and Tabasco. Cover tightly and simmer 10 minutes.
Cool and whirl in blender or food processor until smooth. Blend in ½ cup butter and whirl until mixed.
Put into serving bowls and chill several hours.
