Meat Balls:

1 lb. Beef

1 lb. Pork

½ cup Bread crumbs

1 tsp. minced garlic

1 egg

1 tsp. beef Oxo

Milk if required to moisten

Salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients together and roll into balls by the tsp. full.  Bake at 250 for 1 hour

These little darlings make a great party food for buffets. 

I used to make them a lot when my little girl was young.  She would call them "meat bulbs" and would gobble them up when nothing else could be coaxed into her.

Preheat Oven To: 250

Serves: 8

Serve With:  Any party food or over steamed rice.

Sauce:

¼ cup minced onion

2 tsp. butter

½ cup catsup

1 tbsp. vinegar

½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp. brown sugar

½ tsp. salt

½ tsp. dry mustard

½ tsp. paprika

Sauté onions and butter to soft.  Add all other ingredients and cover.  Cook in microwave oven on medium high heat for 4 – 5 min.  Stir in meatballs.  Cook for another 4 – 5 min.  Let stand covered for 2 minutes.
