In a square baking pan melt cup butter,  and layer the following on top

1 cup graham crackers crumbs mixed with 1 tbsp. brown sugar – press into butter so that all the crumbs are moist.

1 cup grated coconut

1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup slivered almonds or crushed nuts

1 can sweetened condensed milk - pour evenly over top to completely cover

Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 – 20 minutes.  Do a little dance while singing "Thanks for nothing you Old Fart".

Grade 8 Home Economics class...Mrs.Smith...She somehow never got the message that I had been cooking  since I was 7 years old.  I credit her for my lack of interest in taking up home economics as a profession.  Too bad...here's a profession where I could have done some real damage.  She did however, manage to teach me something I use to this day.  Hello Dollies.  Make'em every Christmas.  Teach your kids how to cook with this one.
