Combine orange rind, sugar, orange juice, egg and oil. Beat well.
Combine flour, bran, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Stir into wet ingredients just to blend.
Stir in cranberries. Turn into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 45 minutes or until the center springs back when lightly touched with finger.
