1 heaping tbsp. cornstarch mixed with a little water
Optional: Add pineapple chunks, onions, celery, green pepper and/or mushrooms.
This recipe is great for fish and lighter meats like chicken. For more robust meats like beef or pork, add a little
more sugar and ginger. When looks are important, add a little red food colouring.
Serve With:Any Meat, fish or poultry.
Heat together brown sugar, vinegar, ginger and water. Bring to a boil. Add cornstarch/water mixture and bring back to a boil
stirring constantly. Remove from heat as soon as it is thickened.
